All,
News of Today
- Over night the storm at Lake E has ceased. It is still windy, but little snow drift gave way for the sun and even allowed a nice view to the mountains surrounding the crater - they are still there.
- Consequently, much progress was made on site D1 today. For instance, the platform was cleaned from snow, tarp and tent were provisionally fixed and the rig was started - it will now keep running until the first hole of D1 is done.
- Tomorrow the dozer shall help cleaning the pad from the significant snow drifts that have accumulated there during the past three days, and it will support the crew with movements of some heavier equipment end gear (e.g. casing, mud pump). After that, the platform shall be fully closed, almost ready to set the casing and then start drilling.
Cheers for now
Martin
