News of Today
- Another calm and sunny day at Lake E allowed for completion of preparations at site D1. Supported by the crane, last casing tubes were loaded on the platform and the mud pump was shifted towards its final destination. Simultaneously, the dozer completed clearing of the pad from snow.
- Tomorrow, the casing shall be set, giving space in the rack for the core tubes which are already parked on a sled in front of the platform entrance.
- Start of drilling, and thus onset of shift operation is scheduled for the day after tomorrow (Monday).
