News of Today (based on own experience and Emails and a call with Olaf and Doug)
- in Pevek, a container was stored by the party that will start to the lake potentially tomorrow, together with a second truck that will deliver 224 m of casing.
- Following this trip, two containers with pipes, some casing and mud (now with a weight that allows for transport by Gutov) still have to go in a couple of days. A third container with a Kawasaki vehicle, a Kawasaki mule for that vehicle, and a hand-operated Kawasaki mule in our mind is not useful at Lake E - we will keep this in Pevek if not anybody insist on sending it (please advice quickly).
- At Lake E, set-up of the platform made further progress. Combining the eight skids was completed. Set-up of the walls is planned to be conducted tomorrow.
- The dozer is cleaning the pad D1, and during the night the containers are planned to be towed to the site.
- Weather kept comfortable at Lake E (- 35C, but sunny), but the weather forecast is suboptimal, with strong winds from the south at least in Pevek.
