Again News of Two days (sent from Pevek)
- Yesterday Kenna, Vladimir and Martin landed in Pevek. The flight was delayed by some hours, so that the plane was not able to leave back to Moscow with Volker Chris, and Gary at the same day.
- The plane eventually took off in Pevek today around noon. In consequence of this dalay Gary and possibly also Volker have to change their connecting flights from Moscow.
- In Pevek a meeting took place with Gutov. Based on communication with the party at Lake E the cargo still in Pevek will be prioritized for two trucks that are planned to start to the lake tomorrow.
- The next flight of a helicopter to Lake E will take place on Monday at the earliest.
- At Lake E building of the platform was continued at site D1. The party is trying to make best use of the rather good weather, working long days.
- According to information from Gutov the crane, which would be helpful for building the platform, currently is 72 km from the lake. It was put on a sledge that is towed by a dozer.
- According to Gutov the insolated containers for core storage (1 at the lake, 2 in Pevek) are able to cool as well as heat (to 4 +/- 2 degrees C, as requested). He will send one of his staff members, who is familiar with running this kind of container, to the lake tomorrow.
