The ice platform is starting to look absolutely vacant! Day 3 of our demob and there was nothing much left on the platform but one lonely frost fighter being used occasionally to thaw things out. The following containers are now packed and ready to be taken off the ice for inventory on shore:
-- The mud tanks, pipe rack and complete tent assembly
-- The walls, shelving, and braces for the rig
-- The rig container
-- The tools container
-- The Generator container
The DOSECC supplies container (and now moved to the camp tonight).
Left to do on the ice is a list of clean up activities -- removing the submersible pump from under 2 meters of ice, picking up any soiled spots from the heavy equipment and, eventually removing the snow fences and flagging along the ice road.
