Privet!
Everything from the science site of things at Lake E camp is now packed and inventoried. The lock-seal-steel cable-crimp and crimp again process will happen in the morning before our helicopter arrives sometime midday. The PIs are currently reviewing a press release for next week.
We are all taking final pictures, copying files and backing up data and pictures. Most importantly, its our last banya night!!!
We've taken a group picture of the entire camp with all of the Chaun support staff here. So our field experience is almost over. We will have the weekend in Pevek at the Hydromet to finalize computer backups etc. and take in the sights.
At the end of this week, we will put out our last Weekly Report no. 18.
