All,
some more news as of today (based on call with Olaf in addition to Chico´s and Olaf´s Emails):
- Besides the 200 l gasoline, 2 Kinross pumps, sled, ski-doo, drills, black box the helicopter load contained (1) boxes with medical equipment for the physician and (2) AWI boxes with parts of the MSCL whole core physical property equipment. Since all this was sent by AARI, my interpretation is that the AARI cargo was on the cargo plane to Pevek but not the Dialog freight (EBA pumps). Olaf did not see the Kawasaki Mule, but will check for that today.
- Ice measurements today ranged between 1.05 - 1.30 m, indicating that ice grow continues. Somewhat strange is that Gutov´s staff made own ice thickness measurement (not much trust yet!). Volker will sent a report to Gutov in order to convince him about ice safety for the bulldozer
- Weather: calm, blue sky, - 30 degrees --- just perfect (forecast good); sufficient daylight from 9:30 am to 4 pm.
